Healing and restoration
"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise" - Jeremiah 17:14
At some point in our lives, we all experience brokenness. We may be physically ill, emotionally wounded, or spiritually lost. During these times, it can be easy to feel hopeless and alone. However, Jeremiah 17:14 reminds us that we can turn to God for healing and restoration: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise."
Jeremiah 17:14 is a powerful reminder of this truth. The prophet Jeremiah cried out to God, asking for healing and salvation. He recognized that God alone was His source of hope and praise. Similarly, we too can turn to God in our times of brokenness, trusting in His power to heal and restore us.
God's healing and restoration may not always come in the ways we expect or desire. However, we can trust that God is faithful to His promises and is always working for our good (Romans 8:28). As we place our trust in Him, we can find peace and hope in the midst of our struggles.
Pray with us
Dear God, we come before You with hearts that are broken and hurting. We ask that You would heal us and restore us to wholeness. Help us to trust in Your faithfulness and to place our hope in You. Give us the strength we need to persevere through our struggles, knowing that You are always with us. Thank You for Your unending love and grace. Amen.
