Committing your plans and goals to God
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" - Proverbs 16:3
It's natural to want to make plans and set goals for ourselves as we go through life. We may want to achieve certain things, accomplish certain tasks, or reach certain milestones. These plans and goals can give us a sense of purpose and direction, and can help us to stay focused and motivated.
But as much as we may try to control our lives and make things happen, it's important to remember that ultimately, it is God who is in control. He knows what is best for us and has a plan for our lives.
Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." This verse reminds us that when we commit our plans and goals to God, He will establish them and help us to achieve them.
This doesn't mean that we shouldn't have plans and goals. But it does mean that we should seek God's guidance and direction as we pursue them. We should ask Him to reveal His will for our lives and to give us the wisdom and guidance we need to achieve our goals.
So as you think about your plans and goals, take some time to commit them to God. Ask Him to establish them and to guide you as you work towards achieving them. Trust in His plan for your life and know that He is with you every step of the way.
