One of the most comforting things we can remember during times of darkness and uncertainty is that God is the light in the darkness. In John 8:12, Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
When we feel lost or alone, we can take comfort in the fact that we are not alone. God is with us, and His light shines on us, even in the darkest of moments. His light provides guidance and direction, and it illuminates the path before us, giving us hope and strength to keep moving forward.
As we face the challenges of life, we can trust that God is with us and that His light will guide us through any darkness we may encounter. May we always remember that the light of the world is within us and may we continue to follow it on our journey of faith.
Pray with us
Heavenly Father, in the midst of darkness, I turn to You as the source of light and hope. Your love and presence shine brightly, illuminating the path before me and guiding me through the shadows. May Your light dispel any fears or doubts that may come my way, and may it be a beacon of hope to all those around me. Thank You for being a constant source of light in my life. Amen.
