Growing in love and unity as a family in Christ
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" - Psalm 133:1
As a family in Christ, we are called to live in unity and love. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” - Psalm 133:1. This means putting aside our differences, forgiving each other, and working towards a common goal - to glorify God in all we do. When we live in unity, we reflect God’s character to the world around us and draw others to Him.
However, unity doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes intentional effort and a commitment to love and serve each other. We must be willing to listen, communicate, and support one another. And most importantly, we must rely on God’s strength and guidance to help us navigate through any challenges or disagreements that may arise.
So let us strive to grow in love and unity as a family in Christ. May our words and actions reflect His love and grace, and may we always seek to put Him first in all we do.
Pray with us
Dear Lord, we thank You for the gift of family and for the love and unity that You call us to as believers. Help us to grow in our love for one another and to always put You first in our lives. Give us the strength and wisdom to navigate through any challenges or disagreements that may arise, and may our words and actions reflect Your love and grace to those around us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
