Prayer Request
As we journey through life, it is important to remember that we are not alone. God desires for us to walk with Him, and He desires for our families to walk with Him as well. When we make the decision to follow God and serve Him as a family, we are able to experience His love and guidance in a special way. "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15b (NIV).
In the book of Joshua, we see an example of a family that was committed to serving the Lord. Joshua made a bold statement, declaring that he and his household would serve the Lord. He recognized that the choices he made would not only impact him, but also his family. He understood that serving the Lord as a family was not just a personal decision, but it was also a decision that would affect the generations to come.
As we commit ourselves to walk with God as a family, we will experience His grace and blessings in a powerful way. We will see Him work in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. We will be strengthened and encouraged as we navigate the ups and downs of life together.
So let us make the decision, like Joshua, to serve the Lord as a family. Let us walk with Him and follow His leading in all that we do. May our homes be places of peace, love, and joy as we seek to honor God in all things.
Pray with us
Dear God, we thank You for the gift of family. We ask that You would help us to walk with You as a family, seeking to honor You in all that we do. May our homes be filled with Your peace, love, and joy. Help us to trust You in all things, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
