In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it can be easy to neglect to spend quality time with our family. Work, school, extracurricular activities and other responsibilities can consume our time and leave little room for anything else. However, as believers, we must remember that our family is a gift from God, and we have a responsibility to invest in our relationships with them.

"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord", Joshua 24:15 reminds us that we have a choice in how we spend our time and whom we serve. While there are many things vying for our attention, we must prioritize our family and make intentional efforts to spend quality time with them. Whether it's having dinner together, playing games, going for a walk, or simply engaging in meaningful conversation, there are countless ways to build connections with our loved ones.

As we prioritize quality time with our family, we not only strengthen our relationships with them, but we also demonstrate our commitment to serving the Lord. Our family is a reflection of His love, and by investing in them, we honor God and His plan for our lives.

Dear God, thank You for the gift of family. Help us to cherish and appreciate the time we spend together. Show us how to make the most of the moments we have with our loved ones, and help us to create lasting memories. May our time together be filled with love, joy, and laughter, and may we always prioritize our family relationships above all else. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
