Nurturing a strong marriage with God’s help
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves" - Ecclesiastes 4:12
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12.
Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, meant to be a representation of His unconditional love and faithfulness toward His people. In the midst of the challenges and difficulties that may arise, God’s grace is available to help couples build and nurture a strong and enduring relationship.
The Bible teaches us that when we invite God into our marriage, we become a cord of three strands. As we walk in partnership with Him, we become stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to overcome the trials and storms that come our way.
When we prioritize our relationship with God and intentionally seek to grow in love toward our spouse, we allow Him to transform us and our marriage from the inside out. We learn to communicate better, to forgive more freely, and to serve one another with selflessness and humility.
May we constantly seek God’s guidance and grace in our marriage, trusting in His promise to strengthen and uphold us as we strive to build a life together that honors Him.
Pray with us
Dear God, we thank You for the gift of marriage. Help us to prioritize our relationship with You and with one another, seeking to love, honor, and serve each other with selflessness and humility. We pray that You would strengthen us to overcome the challenges that we may face, and that our marriage would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness to those around us. Amen.
